Between Colmar and Strasbourg we chose the indirect route rather than the motorway, a route that took us north through delightful villages and vineyards. It's called Route des Vins d'Alsace. We visited just a handful of the villages - Kayserberg, Riquewihr, Hunawihr and Koenigsberg - before we ran out of time and headed for our BnB.
