Saint Gabriel Vineyard, Quebec

We stopped to look at the vines covered in netting and then noticed, on the other side of the road, the cellar. 'Vignoble Saint Gabriel'. Just as we pulled in a tourist bus arrived. They got royal treatment! A pre-arranged cellar tour (in French) and a swish sit-down meal. Just sometimes I think I'd like to go on tour ... but the feeling soon passes.
We, on the other hand, investigated their tractor shed. OK, it was pretty amazing. There were three purpose-built sheds, each with two layers of displays beautifully set out with information labels for each tractor giving the provenance as well as the year of production, horsepower and so on. There must have been 80 tractors. There were also ski sleds, buggies, ploughs and other old farm machinery.
Phil was like a kid in a toyshop (despite a heavy cold and an ear infection).

Yet another lake with no access.
Almost every square inch of lakefront is taken up with private properties.
No walking tracks, no car parking spaces, no viewpoints. I know there are hundreds of lakes in Canada but it is annoying that many of those on main roads are 'private'.
