We approached Las Vegas through the back door, the Northshore Road that led us south in parallel with Lake Mead through beautiful landscapes with muted colours and sparse vegetation.
And then we hit the city with startling abruptness. One footstep could take you from city to desert.
After four weeks in National Parks and other natural worlds I was in sensory overload when we explored The Strip, Las Vegas Blvd. First we walked it at night then went back next day in the afternoon.
All is glitter and glitz. |
